If Jamie and Kyle knew one thing they wanted for their wedding was that it needed to be a party. Guests drove across the mountains to spend the entire weekend celebrating this amazing couple and a week of unsure weather reports ended with a potentially warm sunny day in Twisp.
Kyle and Jamie decided that instead of exchanging vows at the alter that they would privately give each other hand written notes.
Kyle could hardly hold back in anticipation of seeing his bride for the first time. With their wedding party standing by for support Jamie made the walk across the bridge to her soon to be husband.
As the wedding party lined up for photos the sky quickly changed from blue and sunny to lightening, thunder and a whole lot of hail. With only 30 minutes until the ceremony everyone huddled into cabins hoping the clouds would quickly roll away. With the help of many people chairs were dried, cakes were saved, flowers were reset and it was like the strom never happened. And as luck would have it the blue sky and sun came back just in time for them to walk down the aisle.
Guests were happy to give Kyle and Jamie the party they hoped for and they danced the night away. The party even included a few songs by a bag piper.
