When winter comes we all know the routine. Dark mornings, dark nights, grey days and wet grounds. We tuck ourselves away under our blankets on our couches and count the days until it is light (though still rainy) again.
But some times we are given a surprise. We wake up in the morning to crisp blue skies and white covered grounds... No it's not snow, though maybe we can start calling it western Washington snow, sort of like how we call it liquid sunshine. It's probably the closest we're going to get to the real stuff.
Either way it was beautiful and we couldn't pass up the chance to be out and enjoy it. So glad we did seeing as it was gone just as fast as it came.
Did you get a chance to enjoy the frost? Could you see the beauty despite the road conditions?
"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost." -J.R.R. Tolkien
